Winner of the Seventh Fleet Film Festival - Open Division - 2nd Place
This is an animation of two of my favorite pieces of music... "Also Sprach Zarathrustra" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus". I had originally intended for this partricular animation to be centered around a completely different piece of music that was composed by a former teacher of mine at the University of Utah. However, I was not able to gain contact with him in time to enter this into the Festival. That is the reason there are so many keys that are not being used. Maybe next time..... So, I scrambled to put other source music together and this is what came out. The animation is composed of 3,043 different individual frames and an absolutely beautiful background by *Moonchilde-Stock With that in mind, I would also like to thank ~sk8rccd for allowing me to use her Lexirus Studios to actually record the music. Thanks also go out to William Wallace of [link] for providing the preliminary orchestration of "Also Sprach" and PacDV of [link] for access to some great and free sound effects/music.
I am a huge fan of Animusic and although I don't have access to the same software they do, this is my attempt to show what I can do, with what I've got. I've learned a lot about myself and certain techniques in doing this project. I also realize that there is a lot more to learn. For that reason, I would really appreciate some input on this video.
